GetClients ("GetClients", "we", "us", or "our") provides an automated social media content service that researches, writes, and publishes posts to Facebook Pages you connect. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and how you can access or delete it. By using GetClients, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to operate the service:
- Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure one-way hash).
- Facebook data: when you connect a Facebook Page, we receive the list of Pages you manage, basic Page information (Page ID and name), and a Page access token that lets us publish posts to that Page on your behalf. We request only the permissions required to do this:
pages_show_list,pages_read_engagement, andpages_manage_posts. - Content and configuration: your posting schedule, topic preferences, brand/persona settings, banned phrases, and the history of posts we generate and publish.
- Billing information: subscription plan and status. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and provide access to your dashboard.
- To research topics, generate content, and publish posts to the Facebook Pages you have connected, according to your configured schedule and preferences.
- To display your post history and account activity.
- To manage your subscription and send service-related notifications.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your Facebook data for advertising or share it with third parties except the infrastructure and AI providers strictly needed to deliver the service (described below).
How Facebook Data Is Used
Your Facebook Page access token is used solely to publish content to the Page(s) you explicitly connected, and to read basic Page engagement to display in your dashboard. We never post to your personal profile, never access private messages, and never take any action on Pages you have not connected. You remain in control and can disconnect a Page or pause posting at any time from your dashboard.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate: cloud hosting and database infrastructure, an AI content-generation provider (used to draft post text), and a payment processor for billing. These providers process data only as needed to perform their function and are bound by their own security and privacy obligations.
Data Security
Facebook Page access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes. We use industry-standard security practices, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access controls to protect your information.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect a Facebook Page, its access token is removed. If you delete your account or request deletion, we delete your personal data and Facebook data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited records for legal or accounting purposes.
Accessing and Deleting Your Data
You can disconnect any Facebook Page or pause posting at any time from your dashboard. To request full deletion of your data, follow the instructions on our Data Deletion page. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
GetClients is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
